THE DESIGNERS
Nidal Bariji was born and raised in the midst of the Lebanese war to a seamstress mother, his fondest memory of helping her cut and sew was something he will never forget. This inspired him to develop his love and respect for fashion at a very young age. Thus, choosing fashion over literature as a career and enjoying over 25 years of creating artwork in the industry working with globally renowned designers, Bariji brings his expertise in couture and his love for artistic expression to the brand.
Mariko Yokoyama, is a mixed individual with roots in both Japan and Indonesia had always cherished and found joy in art during her school years, hadn't realized that fashion could be another captivating avenue for artistic expression, one she would find equally fulfilling. This led her to pursue her studies at the prestigious Esmod fashion institute in Dubai. She recollects a timeless figure that has greatly influenced her was her Japanese grandmother who always appeared effortlessly graceful and elegantly stylish. Drawing inspiration from her familial background and pride of her heritage, she remains focused on showcasing the richness and diversity of both Japanese and Indonesian elements infused with contemporary designs, she aims to build the brand to celebrate her unique identity on the global stage.
